Aerocraft Heat Treating Company Completes Phase 1 of SEA Supply Chain Conversion Plan

PARAMOUNT, California – According to General Manager, Adam Lynch, Aerocraft Heat Treating Company Inc., located in Paramount, California, has completed Phase 1 of their implementation of the Supplier Excellence Alliance (SEA) Supply Chain Conversion Plan. “Aerocraft has made significant improvements in responsiveness and turn-around time as a direct result of our first four Kaizen events.” notes Lynch.

The SEA Supply Chain Conversion Plan is the industry standard business system being adopted by aerospace, defense, and space suppliers to help the U.S. supply chain become more competitive.

Aerocraft Heat Treating Company, Inc., founded in 1959, heat treats ferrous and non-ferrous alloys bars, closed die forgings and seamless rolled rings used in gas turbine engines with applications in space, defense, and commercial aviation markets. Aerocraft operates eight buildings at their single location, working 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with a staff of 60 employees. Aerocraft provides heat treating services to a large number of aerospace and defense primes, including The Boeing Company, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman and Raytheon.
