– NEWSLINE –

SEA announces its new Supplier Registry – available at

http://seaonline.org/Suppliers/index.htm

SEA Suppliers are distinguishing themselves by accelerating their improvement effort. When they first begin as “Members” they are educating themselves in order to choose the best path to SEA Roadmap implementation. Those who have chosen a path begin to invest, and successfully submitting their quarterly report for review by a SEA examiner qualifies them for the “Engaged” status. Those suppliers who continue their efforts achieve SEA Certification Stages 1-3. SEA Certified Suppliers are setting the bar for the Aerospace & Defense Industry.

Semi-Finalists Announced for Aerospace and Defense Industry’s 2008 Annual Supply Chain Awards

The Supplier Excellence Alliance (SEA) has announced semi-finalists for the prestigious 2008 Aerospace & Defense Industry Supply Chain Awards. Winners will be announced at the Awards Gala on November 12, 2008 at the Hyatt Grand Champions Resort, Villas & Spa in Indian Wells, California.

Semi-Finalists are among the few and the rare breed of suppliers who have distinguished themselves by making an uncommon investment in improvement. In many cases the difference between the announced winners, finalists, and semi-finalists is very small. There are 118 semi-finalists that represent the judge’s choices from over 300 nominations.
