The Boeing Company and the SEA Team Up For the Aerospace and Defense Supplier CEO Summit

IRVINE, Calif., March 13, 2008 – Supplier Excellence Alliance (SEA) and The Boeing Company have scheduled an important conference for April 22, 2008 for senior leaders of supplier companies within the aerospace, defense and space supply chain. The Supplier CEO Summit will be hosted by The Boeing Company in Seattle, Washington. An opening Reception will be hosted by Kennametal, Inc. on the evening of April 21, 2008.

SEA is a non-profit alliance of leading industry prime and tier-one contractors and sub-tier production suppliers. SEA is transforming the global supply chain by improving supplier performance, and expanding capabilities and collaboration to produce breakthrough, integrated supply chain solutions.

The Supplier CEO Summit will feature an impressive line up of industry experts as conference speakers, including:

John Bishop

Advance Systems for Boeing Integrated Defense Systems

He will share why and how The Boeing Company is transforming into a Lead Systems Integrator (LSI) on new programs. He will demonstrate how a supplier organization can build shareholder value and market value by investing in process improvement.

Also featured on the information-packed agenda will be insightful presentations by three supplier CEOs on their results from implementation of the SEA Roadmap, the industry standard for continuous improvement and integrated supply chain solutions. SEA Certification will also be reviewed along with a breakout educational session presented by Kennemetal, Inc.
