DRS Technologies’ Albert Moran Ioins the
Supplier Excellence Alliance Board of Directors
IRVINE, Calif., February 1, 2008 – Supplier Excellence Alliance (SEA) Board Chairman,
Michael G. Beason, announced the election of Albert S. Moran, Jr., Vice President, Strategic
Supply Chain Initiatives for DRS Technologies to the SEA Board of Directors.
DRS Technologies, headquartered in Parsippany, New Jersey, is a leading supplier of products,
systems and support services to U.S. and international military forces, U.S. government
agencies and fellow defense contractors worldwide. The company employs approximately
9,500 people worldwide.
Mr. Moran has 24 years of experience enhancing and leading business services, supply chain,
and logistical operations. During the past five years, under Mr. Moran’s leadership, the DRS
Supply Chain Executive Council has streamlined the integration and collaboration of supply
chain efforts through the corporation.
Prior to joining DRS, Mr. Moran has held executive positions in the defense and commercial
electronics industries. Mr. Moran holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business
Administration from St. Thomas Aquinas College in Sparkhill, New York.
