National Aerospace and Defense Supplier Summit Videoconference Scheduled

Irvine, California – July 10, 2006 - Supplier Excellence Alliance (SEA) Executive Director, Mickey Wiebe, announced a significant, upcoming event for the aerospace and defense industry. An interactive Supplier Summit Videoconference will take place on September 20, 2006. The videoconference will be broadcast live from Huntington Beach, California to numerous locations across the country, easily accessible to suppliers. It will run from 7:00 am – 9:00 am PDT.

The Supplier Summit will feature a panel of executives from a diverse range of supplier companies who will discuss critical challenges facing the U.S. supply chain. Panelists include Brad Hart of Roberts Tool Company, B.J. Schramm of Hitco Carbon Composites, Gerold Pankl of Pankl Aerospace Systems, Cristi Christich of Cristek Interconnects, and Chet Claudon of Tampa Bay Machining.

These leading supplier executives will discuss dramatic changes in how their customers operate and how those changes are affecting their respective organizations. They will address how the bar has been raised and what capabilities are now needed to meet and exceed customer expectations. And they will share their experiences in implementing the SEA Lean Enterprise System, including their insights on obstacles, concerns, results and new business opportunities. The SEA discussion will also include what the panelists see as clear differences between the SEA Lean Enterprise System and other approaches to continuous improvement. In addition, these supplier executives will share how they are now able to generate more new business. The panel will respond to questions from videoconference participants as well.
