Nominations Now Open for Supplier Excellence Alliance (SEA) 2008 Aerospace & Defense Supply Chain Awards

IRVINE, Calif., May 7, 2008 – The Supplier Excellence Alliance (SEA) announced the nomination process is now open for the 2nd Annual SEA Aerospace & Defense Supply Chain Awards.

The SEA Aerospace & Defense Supply Chain Awards recognize the best of the best suppliers and highlight best practices leading to outstanding business performance.

Award categories include:
SEA Leadership & Culture Award
SEA Workforce Development Award
SEA Operational Excellence Award
SEA Performance Award: Most Improved
SEA Supply Chain Innovation Award
SEA Customer of the Year Award
SEA Richard Hall Award for Leadership Excellence

Award recipients will be determine by a panel of independent judges who will use the SEA Roadmap Criteria to evaluate supplier Applications. The SEA Roadmap is the process standard for four critical areas of a supplier’s organization: Leadership & Culture, Workforce Development, Operational Excellence, and Business Results.

Awards will be announced at the Awards Gala to be held November 12, 2008 at the Hyatt Grand Champions Resort & Spa in Indian Wells, California (Palm Springs area).
