SEA to hold Executive Briefing for CEOs at SME’s WESTEC Conference
IRVINE, California – March 1, 2006 – The Supplier Excellence Alliance (SEA) has scheduled a special Executive Briefing for Tuesday, March 28 from 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm, (PST), at the Society for Manufacturing Engineers’ (SME) WESTEC 2006 Conference, “The Total Manufacturing Experience.”
The Executive Briefing will provide aerospace, defense and space supplier company executives with an update on key changes in the industry supply chain. It will also help suppliers understand emerging opportunities to partner in this effort to ensure global competitiveness. There is no cost for attending. Briefing registration also provides for free access to the WESTEC exhibit hall.
SEA is the Joint Program Office for the conversion of the aerospace, defense and space industry. As a non-profit alliance of leading industry prime contractors, tier-one suppliers and key industry suppliers, SEA’s purpose is to accelerate supply chain performance. The industry Conversion Plan deploys a collaborative business system adopted by SEA member companies to help supplier organizations expand their capabilities and gain immediate and sustainable improvements.
SEA membership includes The Boeing Company, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman Company, United Technologies (Pratt & Whitney, Hamilton Sundstrand, Sikorsky), Parker Aerospace, Rockwell Collins, Textron, (Bell Helicopter, Cessna Aircraft), Space Systems Loral, BAE Systems, Hitco Carbon Composites, Bombardier, Honeywell, and TW Metals.
SEA and SME formed a strategic partnership in 2005. SEA will also be involved in other key WESTEC activities, including a presentation on the Alliance at 11:00 am on March 28 at WESTEC’s dedicated “Hot Topics” area on the exhibit floor.
